After capturing the man he learns that they are a terror cell that has planned out various such attacks across the city. Will Jagdish be able to stop the terrorist attack? Kaththi and Ravi find Jeevanadam, a man shot by thugs. When they admit him to the hospital they see that he resembles Kaththi. They hatch a plan to impersonate Jeeva and steal money from his old-age home for their Bangkok trip. That is until he learns about Jeeva’s mission. Jeeva has a post-graduate degree in hydrology and discovers water below the village of Thanoothu. But, a greedy MNC owner cheats the villagers into giving up their land for the construction of a factory.
After learning about the plight of the villagers, Kaththi decides to fight for them posing as Jeeva.

5. Azhagiya Tamil Magan
Azhagiya Tamil Magan is another great addition to the Vijay Super hit Movies list. The movie sees the actor Vijay in a dual role as the hero and the villain. The hero of this movie, Guru meets the love of his life through a racing competition – Abinaya. But Guru realizes something is wrong with him when he starts having visions of bizarre incidents. He later consults a psychiatrist who diagnoses him with extrasensory perception or ESP. But, in a sad twist Guru sees a dream where he sees himself stabbing Abi. He flees to Mumbai without informing anyone and meets his doppelganger – Prasad.
In a twisted turn of events, Prasad meets Abi and decides to trick her into thinking he is Guru, to marry her for her money. The movie ends with Guru and Abi uniting and Prasad uniting with a woman he had impregnated Dhanalakshmi.

He goes to another city to do his MBA and meets Mini. After a few encounters with her, they both fall in love.
But, the happy couple soon runs into some trouble – her 3 tyrannical brothers are highly overprotective of their sister. The couple decides to elope, but on the day of their wedding, they realize that they do not want to go ahead with the marriage without their families. When they return home their families decide to forget all the conflict and take them back with open arms. In the end, the families accept their love, and the happy couple ties the knot.

7. Mersal
Another addition to the Vijay hit movies collection is Mersal. The plot revolves around the kidnapping of 4 people – an ambulance driver, a hospital worker, a surgeon, and a broker. They are connected back to Dr. Maaran, a Chennai based doctor.
Dr. Maaran is arrested and explains his motives behind the abductions – all four were responsible for the death of an auto driver’s daughter. He gives the police officer all four locations of his hostages but tells him that he has already killed them off.
It is later revealed that Dr. Maaran is not who he is. He is Vetri, a magician. In the end, Vetri is arrested for the murder of six people and is sentenced to life in prison.
In the end, when Vetri hears a news report that a young girl is killed from medical negligence, he uses his skills as a magician and escapes to continue his form of vigilante justice.

8. Ghilli

Velu is a state-level player who keeps getting reprimanded by his father for his lack of interest in his studies. He goes to Madurai for a tournament where he meets Dhanlakshmi. Dhanlakshmi was trying to escape from Madurai as a ruthless political leader called Mathupandi wanted to marry her.
Velu helps her escape and hides her in his house. But, the evil Mathupandi is not ready to let her go. Dhanlakshmi falls for Velu and is reluctant to leave him, but Velu convinces her to go. Afterward, when Velu goes for a match he finds Dhanlakshmi looking for him there. Mathupandi also lands up and challenges Velu for her hand, and in the end, he loses his life.

9. Friends

He gets a letter from Krishnamoorthy telling him that Chandru is not dead but has been in a coma. Five years ago, Vijay was given a case involving the rape and death of IT employee Raji. Vijay finds out that the rapist is none other than the Labour Minister’s son Ashwin. Vijay kills Ashwin and his father swears to take revenge for his son’s untimely death.
On the other hand, Vijay marries Mithra and soon welcomes their daughter Nivi into the world. But their happiness is short-lived as Mithra dies but not before she requests Vijay to leave this life behind and run away with Nivi. So, Vijay fakes his death and runs away with his friend Rajendran and Nivi.
But, in a twist, Vijay comes back and kills off all the henchmen and the minister in the end but does not get caught. The Commissioner reveals that he knew Vijay was alive all along. He employs Vijay again in his ‘ghost’ form to help reduce crime in the State.
