While studying at college, Surabhi got the opportunity to play small roles in some Hindi serials and web series, including several commercials. During this time, she worked on several commercials, including White Detergent Powder and Parle G Biscuits. She also worked as an assistant director at Squarekel Productions for four months in 2015. Later, she was cast in the Hindi short film Sanyog (2016) opposite Yashpal Sharma. In 2018, she was featured in the Bengali soap opera Irabotir Chupkotha.
