Emmett wants to wash out and convert his recently dead mother’s house, get in, get out, and bypass any lingering trauma from when he left her as a child. Anya, his fiancée, sees this as an opportunity to finally push Emmett to face his trauma because she thinks it prevents him from being the partner he needs. So he persuades her to take the mushroom to release him. But something abnormal happens while they’re on the trip; she begins behaving like her mother. The next morning he wakes up calm but won’t quit acting. Anya adores playing fun; is she bringing it too far? Or did his mother’s soul somehow keep him?
