Shohel Mondol (সোহেল মণ্ডল) started his career through theatre. When he came to Dhaka from Bogura for university, he enlisted at ‘‘Nagorik Natyongon Institute of Drama’’. After six months of working in a drama school, he performed in a theatre group. He began loving working with them within a few days. Meanwhile, He began to enjoy watching stage dramas at ‘‘Prachyanat’’.

Shohel Mondol made his film debut with the film Under Construction in 2015 as the character Sabuj. The film was directed by Rubaiyat Hossain, and the costars were Shahana Goswami and Rahul Bose. Mondol also worked on a commercial movie called ‘‘Musafir’’, released in 2016. Shohel Mondol is popular for his work Aynabaji (Mirror Game) in the role of Mastan, aired in 2016, and Sincerely Yours Dhaka in 2018.
