- After completing graduation, Ritesh’s family wanted him to move to Kota to prepare for the PMT examination. But, he was not interested in his parents’ wish and decided to make a career in singing and acting.
- In the year 2014, Pandey recorded a Bhojpuri song Karua Tel along with the Basant Bahar company. After recording, he shared the song via a pen drive to many shopkeepers across many cities in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh by visiting them himself on a motorcycle. Soon, the song became a hit.
