Movie Info
When his wife makes a vow to abort their baby cause of his alcoholism, Gannu, a ne’er do-well, protests to ban alcohol in his town while struggling with his boozing habits. Gannu runs errands and has small duties like extortion and election booth captures for Dauji, making him Dau’s immediate favorite. A prominent man in State politics, Dauji, once Gannu’s ally, becomes his biggest adversary when Gannu’s futile protest to ban alcohol in town catches momentum, as all the women in the town join the protest. A directionless Gannu finds purpose in his stride to save his child.
