Annu Kapoor was born on 20 February 1956. He is an actor, singer, director, as well as a popular Radio Jockey. Annu Kapoor has appeared in more than 100 movies and TV serials. For the last 40 years, he has become an integral part of the Indian film and television industry. Apart from acting, Annu Kapoor also hosts a radio show, named “Suhaana Safar With Annu Kapoor” which is broadcast on 92.7 big FM. Annu Kapoor was born in Itwara, Bhopal, Bhopal State. His father runs a traveling Parsi theater group that performs in cities and towns. On the other hand, his mother was an Urdu teacher as well as a trained classical singer. In 1992, he married Anupama Patel, however, they separated in 1993. In 1995, Annu Kapoor married Arunita Mukherjee, but the duo got separated in 2005. He has 4 children.
Education
Due to his poor financial condition, Annu Kapoor quit his schooling and joined his father’s theater. However, after some time, he decided to pursue his education and completed his graduation from the National School of Drama. Then, he took interest in dramas and played the character of a 70-year-old man in the play “Ek Ruka Hua Faisla in Bombay”. After seeing his performance, film director Shyam Benegal sent him a letter and signed him for the movie “ Mandi( 1956)”.

Controversy
- He is still in contact with his first wife after marrying his second wife Arunita. Arunita filed a legal case against him by saying that Annu Kapoor always physically abused her and often forced her to leave his house.
- In 2011, before the release of the “ 7 Khoon Maaf” movie, Annu Kapoor said that he is not good-looking, not charming. If he had all that quality, Priyanka Chopra would have no problem doing intimate scenes with him.
