The Gaatchora serial famed actress Shreema Bhattacherjee returned to the small screen with Sun Bangla’s upcoming serial Basu Paribar paired with actor Saurojit Banerjee. The serial starts on 5 August 2024 and can also be watched on the Sun NXT app. The serial focuses on the youngest sibling named Diptesh in Basu Paribar and his chemistry with Neela. Arindam Gangopadhyay, Animesh Badhuri, Sayantani Mullick, and Debopriya Basu  are also in an important roles.

Storyline

Anjan Basu is the head of the Basu Paribar. He is a retired teacher and has a family of three sons, two daughters and his wife Meenakshi. All of his children are well-established except the youngest son Diptesh. But Diptesh is a very philanthropic boy. Everyone in the neighbourhood loves him. The eldest daughter of the Basu family gets married with great fanfare. But this happiness did not last long. The boys on whom so many balls, Bharsa Anjanbabu, an accident in the family revealed the true nature of the boys. The children whom Anjanbabu and Meenakshidevi gave their all to bring up today refuse to stand by their parents. Only Diptesh remained with his parents. Deeptesh gets Neela to prevent the breakup of the Basu family. Will Diptesh and Neela be able to prevent the destruction of the Basu family?
