Controversy
- In the year 2012 during the popular show Crime Petrol, Anup said that Indian men weren’t brought up well. For this, he got into trouble and received hate on social media. Later, he apologized for the statement.
- In September 2020, Kangana Ranaut gave a statement that more than 90 % of the Bollywood industry consumed narcotic substances. Later Anup replied to this on his Twitter account by saying that a single person can’t blame the whole industry without any proof.
