Debadrita Basu began her career as a child artist at the age of eight with the Ha Za Ba Ra La theatre groups. In 2017, she was cast as an adult in the Zee Bangla show Joyee (2017) playing the role of female lead. In 2020, she was cast in the Alo Chhaa TV show where she portrayed the character of Alo Sengupta. She also starred as Meerabai in the mythological serial Shree Krishna Bhakto Meera on Star Jalsa.
