Storyline

Balachandran is an electronics technician, his wife Neelima is an accountant in a private firm, and their five children are Vishnu, Lakshmi, Keshav, Shivani, and Parvathi.Vishnu is a dancer. Earlier, he was teased by his siblings for failing his BSc examinations.Lakshmi is the lethargic, beauty-conscious eldest daughter of the family. Later she entered for B.Com. She married a naval officer. Her husband now works abroad.Keshav and Shiva are the school-going children of the house.They are periodically visited by Balachandran’s brother Surendran; his parents, Madhavan and Sharada; his aunt; his cousin Rema; and Rema’s husband, Jayanthan.
