A journalist named Sanjay Singh published in his Hindi book “‘Reporter Ki Diary” that Telgi has over 100 bank accounts and 36 properties nationwide. In 2003, a case was filed in the court in the Abdul Karim Telgir regarding this stamp paper camp scam which was worth 20 thousand crore rupees that shocked the nation.
