Sourav Das or Saurav Das was born on 21 January 1989 and he is a Bengali actor, theater director, presenter, and comedian. He started his acting career with the Zee Bangla TV serial Boyei Gelo where he played the character of Birsa Basak. After that, he worked in many TV serials like Kojagori (2015), Raage Anuraage (2013), Thik Jeno Love Story (2014), and Jarowar Jhumko (2016). He made his big-screen debut with the Aashiqui (2015) movie. Later he worked in many commercially successful movies like Guti Malhar (2016), Gangster (2016), Ka Kha Ga Gha (2018), Olpo Holeo Sotti (2021), and Harano Prapti (2022).

Saurav completed his graduation from the South Point School in Kolkata. Later, he joined the theater and began his acting career. Apart from acting, he is a playback singer and sings a song in the Chore Chore Mastuto Bhai movie.
