He also appeared in many superhit Bengali movies including Teen Yaari Katha ( 2006), The Bong Connection ( 2007), Byomkesh Bakshi ( 2010), Abar Byomkesh ( 2012), Rajkahini ( 2015), Habu Chandra Raja Gobu Chandra Montri ( 2021), and so on. Saswata also appeared in the Mahabharata Murders ( 2022) web series. His role as Bob Biswas in the Hindi movie Kahaani ( 2012) was highly appreciated by the audience.
