Ronit Roy is a popular Indian actor and was born on 11 October 1965. He mainly works in Hindi films and TV shows. He came into the limelight after playing the character of Rishabh Bajaj in the popular TV serial, named Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Roy started his film career with the Jaan Tere Naam (1992) movie which was a commercial success. Besides, he featured in many Hindi films in supporting roles. During his career, He has received many awards, including six Indian Telly Awards, two Screen Awards, and a Filmfare Award.

Ronit Roy was born in a Bengali family in Nagpur, India. His father was a business tycoon and he is the elder son in the family. He has a younger brother, named Rohit Roy who is also a Television actor. He and his brother spent their childhood in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In 1984, he married Joanna, but they separated in 1997. In 2003, he married Neelam Roy. He has three children.
Education
Ronit Roy completed his primary education at Ankur School, Ahmedabad. After schooling, he decided to pursue a Hotel Management course. Then, he moved to Mumbai and started living with Subhash Ghai, a popular filmmaker. Before coming into the film world, he worked as a management trainee at Mumbai’s Sea Rock Hotel.
