Storyline

Deepa is a sweet and dark-skinned girl who always gets taunted for her skin colour. Doctor Kartik, a cardiac surgeon, falls in love with Deepa for her kindness and inner beauty. And marries her. Kartik’s mother, Saundarya, first dislikes her but eventually accepts Deepa. Meanwhile, Kartik’s friend Tanuja loves him and tries to split Kartik and Deepa so that she can marry him. However, Deepa gets pregnant, and Tanuja tangles Kartik’s mind by alleging that it is not his baby and that Deepa has an affair. He becomes angry and encounters Deepa, leaving her. Deepa gives birth to twin daughters.

After eight years, Deepa and Kartik’s twin daughters, Kartiki and Deepika, meet and become friends, unaware of their relationship. Saundarya decides to get them together, and Tanuja plots to separate them. Finally, after many incidents, Deepa and Kartik reunite after a DNA test discloses that Kartiki and Deepika are Kartik’s daughters.
