Purab Kohli was born on 23 February 1979. He is an Indian actor, model, and former video jockey. Purab started his career with the television show Hip Hip Hurray (1998-2001) aired on Zee TV. After that, he appeared in many TV shows like Shararat, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar, and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. Purab starts his film career with the Bas Yun Hi ( 2003) movie and has been a part of many super hit movies like Vaastu Shastra (2004), Awarapan (2007), Rock On!! (2008), Rock On 2 (2016), and Noor (2017). He also played an important role in the Typewriter (2019), Out of Love (2019-2021), and London Files (2022) web series.

Education
Purab did his schooling at St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai, and at The Bishop’s School, Pune, Maharashtra. After that, he switched his education from Science to Commerce. Purab joined a flying school to be a pilot but didn’t continue.
