He started his career with the film Everybody Says I’m Fine (2001). However, his first commercial success came with the Munna Bhai M.B.B.S (2003) film.
Since then, Irani appeared in many super hit movies like Veer Zaara (2004), Don (2006), Kismat Konnection (2008), 3 Idiots (2009) Housefull (2010), Housefull 3 (2016), and so on. He also appeared in the Masoom web series. In 2019, Irani launched his own production house Irani Movietone.
