After the huge success of Bodhon and Noshtoneer, director Aditi Roy announced its latest drama Lojja that is set to premiere on 22 March 2024. The series is based on the research paper by Samragnee Bandopadhyaya. Popular Bengali actress Priyanka Sarkar as Jaya is an ordinary housewife but certain circumstances changed her life and she fights back to get justice. Besides Priyanka, Anujoy Chattopadhyay, Srija Halum, Indrasish Roy, Saoli Chattopadhyay, Kheyali Dastidar, and Koneenica Banerjee are in significant roles.

Story
Lojja shows the journey of a simple Bengali housewife named Jaya Sinha. She has been physically and mentally tortured by her husband Partha. Jaya finally puts her foot down, thanks to long consideration while remaining tied up in her bedroom after being chased by the explosive Partha down the empty lanes of Kolkata at night. And that is when the real struggle begins. Jaya hires a lawyer, played by Koneenica Banerjee, who appreciates Jaya’s vision of life. Will Jaya get justice?
